Keep Analog glossary: what it is and how printing works
Short answers to common questions about Keep Analog and definitions of the terms we use. The pilot starts in Argentina.
What is Keep Analog?
Keep Analog (also written KeepAnalog) turns the public links one person chooses into a personal printed edition, one per month. The launch market is Argentina.
How do you print saved articles with Keep Analog?
You share the public links you want to read, review which pieces make up your edition and approve it before paying. After payment, the cover and print file are prepared, checked and the edition is manufactured.
Does Keep Analog charge or print automatically every month?
No. The month organizes your selection, but it never triggers automatic charges or printing: nothing is printed until you approve and pay for the edition.
Where is Keep Analog available?
In Argentina, priced in Argentine pesos with standard national shipping included in the catalog offers. The English and Portuguese pages are informational and do not open delivery in other countries.
How much does Keep Analog cost?
Current prices are shown on the home page from the published catalog. This page does not copy them, so they never go out of date.
Personal edition
A printed publication that gathers a finite selection of reading explicitly chosen by one person, in the order that person approves.
Eligible link
A public URL that resolves to an HTML page or a PDF and can enter the process. A link being public does not mean it can be reproduced: each piece is confirmed before printing.
Current issue
The editable selection you build during the month. You can add or remove pieces until you decide to close it.
Edition manifest
The closed list of pieces and their order that you approve before payment. Once approved it does not change, and it is the basis of what gets printed.
